COMILLA: A Juba League activist was chopped to death by unidentified miscreants in Baufur area under Monohorganj early Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Shah Alam, 32.

Sources said a group of miscreants chopped Shah Alam severely in the area. He was rushed to Laksam Upazila Health Complex where doctor declared him death.

Officer-in-Charge of Monohorganj Thana Mohammad Abdul Hie Sarkar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
