DHAKA: A man named Farid Hasan, 40, lost left hand and three others injured critically in a gas cylinder blast on the bank of Buriganga river in Shambazar of the Old Dhaka Friday.
Witness Shuvo told banglanews that the gas cylinder blasted while four men were inflating balloons in the area, leaving them injured badly.
They were undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, confirmed DMCH police outpost In-Charge mozammel Haq.
