BSF picks up 3 Bangladeshis from Meherpur

MEHERPUR: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up three Bangladeshi cattle traders from Sonapur frontier under Mujibnagar upazila early Sunday.

Two of the victims are Badar Uddin Jasim, 33, and his brother Abdul Kuddus, son of late Jalal Uddin.

Badar’s son Yasin told banglanews that the BSF members of Chapra Thana’s Suruthia camp picked up the Bangladeshi nationals from the area when they went there to bring their cattle around 3:00am.

Mujibnagar Company commander Nayek Subedar Taher of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) said they were not officially informed about the incident.

But, the BGB members were looking into the matter, he added.
