SAVAR (DHAKA): At least five passenger busses have been vandalized and two more were set on fire Sunday night in different areas of Savar.

Witnesses told banglanews that BNP leaders and activists, during flash processions they took out, vandalized the vehicles at different areas of Ashulia in Savar.

On the other hand, two more buses were set on fire in front of thana Awami League office at Savar Bus Stand area and in front of Jahangirnagar University.

However, though no one has yet been detained, the law enforcers are looking into the matters and enhanced security measures on roads and highways, said police sources.
