COX’S BAZAR: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members destroyed narcotics worth of over Tk 46 crore in Teknaf of the district on Thursday.

The huge amounts of narcotics were destroyed in front of BGB office at 2:00pm on the day.

According to the sources, the narcotics include yaba, marijuana, phensedyl and local and foreign liquor.

Cox’s Bazar BGB sector commander Colonel Khalequzzaman, Teknaf BGB-42 commander Lt Col Abu Jaan Al Zahid, Teknaf upazila cooperatives official Kabir Ahmmad, narcotics control department inspector Mohammad Ibrahim Khan, Teknaf Customs Exercise and VAT official Sudip Shekhor Das, among others, were present during the drive.
