DHAKA: The Government has decided to appoint Rear Admiral Kazi Sarwar Hossain, (TAS)(CD), ndc, psc, as the new High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the Maldives.
External Publicity Wing of Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed the matter through a press release.
Rear Admiral Kazi Sarwar Hossain joined Bangladesh Navy in 1980. Throughout his distinguished career in Navy, he served in different capacities with reputation. He served as Director General of Coast Guard. He also served in UN Peace Keeping Mission in Ivory Coast.
Sarwar Hossain is an MBA from the University of Honolulu, USA. He also completed Master in Science in Defence Studies from the University of Madras, India.
He received a number of trainings from different institutions in both home and abroad.
