DHAKA: Two people were killed and another injured when an onion-laden truck turned turtle in Gabtoli Bus Terminal area of the city as it driver lost control over steering early Sunday.

One of the deceased was identified as Taij Uddin alias Jalil, 20.

The accident took place in front of Allahr Dan hotel around 12:15am, which left one person dead on the spot and two others injured.

The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where one of them succumbed to his injuries in the morning.
 
Darussalam Thana Officer-In-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The bodies were sent to DMCH morgue for autopsy.
