DHAKA: The founding members of the ‘Stop Violence, Build a Peaceful Nation’ campaign condemned the recent violence in Bangladesh, said a statement issued by the organization.
‘Stop Violence, Build a Peaceful Nation’ issued a statement to media on Monday.
The members also were “deeply saddened by the loss of human lives” the statement said adding, “Our hearts are with the families of the victims”.
It also said, “We also regret that Bangladeshis live in fear of becoming victims themselves.”
In the statement, ‘Stop Violence, Build a Peaceful Nation’ also asked: “Bangladesh to unite and stand together to show they will not tolerate violence, but instead stand for peace.”
