DHAKA: Commerce minister Tofail Ahmed on Saturday commented that BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has declared war against people.

“If we sit with the killers for talks, then it will be established that killing people is a way for dialogue,” the minister said.

According to Tofail, people will come forward to protest the incidents created by BNP in the name of political movement.

The minister told the media outside a roundtable at The Westin Hotel in city in the morning.

He said that the terrorist attacks and anti-people activities are being carried out following the instruction of Khaleda Zia.

On the current political unrest, the minister commented that no way is left to solve the situation. The law-enforcers will take necessary steps to bring the situation under control.
