Tk 5 lakh bounty for Jatrabari arson attackers

DHAKA: Police on Saturday declared a cash reward of Tk 5 lakh in helping to catch the responsible for arson attack in Jatrabari on Friday night during blockade.

A press release signed by Inspector General (Media) of Police Headquarters Jalal Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury informed the media.

However, miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a bus in Jatrabari’s Kather Pool area of the city on Friday night.

At least 29 passengers sustained burn injuries in that incident.

The attack took place on the 18th day of BNP sponsored nationwide road-rail-waterway blockade for indefinite period.
