DHAKA: An unidentified woman and a youth were killed in separate places in city on Tuesday afternoon.

Of the deceased, one was identified as Bazlu, 27, son of Moksed Mia, hailed from Madaripur district.

Bazlu’s younger brother Fardan said that a rashly driven truck knocked his brother in Turag area of the city, leaving him critically injured.

However, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.

On the other hand, an unidentified woman was injured critically as she fell from Postogola Bridge in the afternoon, Shyampur Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Nazmul Huda said.

DMCH on-duty doctor declared her dead on arrival.

DMCH police outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Sentu Chandra Das confirmed the matters to banglanews.
