DINAJPUR: India’s Border Security Force (BSF) members on Tuesday handed over the body of Bangladeshi farmer Nazrul, who was shot by the Indian forces on Monday morning.

They handed over the body to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) during a flag meeting at Achintapur frontier of Birampur upazila of the district in the afternoon.

Birampur Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Mamtajul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

However, Fulbari 29 BGB Battalion Commanding Officer (CO) Colonel Jahidur Rashid said that they had demanded the punishment of the BSF member involved in the killing of the Bangladeshi national.
