RAJSHAHI: A helper of a truck was killed as blockaders allegedly attacked petrol bomb aiming the truck in Belpukur rail crossing area under Puthia upazila of the district on Thursday night.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Inspector of Puthia Thana Hafizur Rahman told banglanews that the helper was killed as his truck crushed after he jumped off the vehicle fearing burning when miscreants attacked a petrol bomb aiming the truck in the area around 8:45pm.
