BOGRA:  A man, who sustained burn injuries in an arson attack on a truck in Shahjahanpur Upazila, succumbed to his injuries at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital (SZMCH) early Sunday. 

The deceased was identified as Asif, 30, helper of the truck.

Bogra district police media cell In-charge ASP Gazipur Rahman confirmed the death to banglanews.

Earlier on Saturday night, a group of blockaders set fire to a truck on Natore-Bogra highway in Rupihar area under Shajahanpur upazila around 8:30pm, leaving three people burnt.

The injured were rushed to the hospital where Asif died at 2:00am.
