DHAKA: Two people were found shot to death in separate places in the capital on Monday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
At Kalshi, being informed from locals, police recovered a bullet-hit body from ECP Chattar here under Cantonment Thana in the city around 7:00am.
Cantonment Thana Sub-Inspector Mukul confirmed the matter to banglanews.
The body is being taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, the SI said adding “ The unidentified man received bullet injuries on his head.”
At Jatrabari, a youth was shot dead early Monday while he was fleeing the spot throwing cocktail at DB police patrol car at Jatrabari in the city.

Sources told banglanews that the incident took place at Kather Pool area of Jatrabari amid the second day of 72-hour nationwide hartal called by BNP and its allies, coupled with indefinite blockade that rolls into 35th day.
Earlier on January 24, at least 29 passengers, in which one succumbed to his injuries at hospital, suffered burns in a petrol bomb attack on a city bus in that area.
Jatrabari Thana Sub-Inspector Humayun, however, confirming the matter, said that the 25-year-old sustained bullet injuries while trying to flee the spot hurling a cocktail at patrol car.
The man was later declared dead on arrival at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), he added.
