NOAKHALI: Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident on Sonapur-Subarnachar road under Sadar upazila of the district Monday evening.

The diseased were identified as Tareq, 22, son of one Abdul Mannan and Ismail, 22, son of one Hafezul Haque, hailed from Dharmapur union of the upazila.

Quoting local people, Sudharam Thana Officer-in-Charge Anwar Hossain told banglanews that while returning from Maijdee, the motorcyclist lost his control and crashed into a roadside tree at Banglabazar area of the upazila, leaving them dead on the spot.

“We have sent forces to recover the bodies,” he added.
