2 die, 13 hurt in Habiganj accident

HABIGANJ: A woman and a youth were killed and 13 others injured in a road accident on Habiganj-Shayestaganj road in Piakpara under Sadar upazila on Saturday noon.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Sub-Inspector of Sadar Thana Iqbal Bahar said, a passenger bus rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the area and both vehicles plunged into roadside ditch, leaving aforesaid casualties.

Locals and fire fighters rescued passengers from the ditch and the injured were rushed to Osmani Medical College and Sadar Adhunik Hospitals, he added.
