DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday said BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia would be arrested as soon as the warrant reaches Gulshan Thana.

She made the observation in response to a question of M A Awal MP at the Jatiya Sangsad in the afternoon.

The premier further said Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office also will be searched as per directives of the court.

“Khaleda Zia is no more a leader of a political party, rather a leader of terrorists,” she added.

Ruling Awami League president also said searching at Khaleda Zia’s office is a must to know why she has been staying at her office since long.

In response to another question, Sheikh Hasina informed the House that it is a matter of only time to bring those involved with arson attack under trial.

She also said BNP chief did not want anything for the countrymen rather for her own good and her son.
