NAOGAON: At least four people were killed in a road accident on Naogaon-Rajshahi highway in Naohata Mor area of the district on Friday.

Mahadebpur Thana Officer-in-charge (OC) Saiful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the accident occurred when a truck collided head-on with a bus, coming from a wedding party, in the area around 9:00pm.

Later police recovered four people’s body from the spot, he added.

Police and Fire Service Unit are working to rescue the passengers.
