One killed while making cocktail

MUNSHIGANJ:  A man, who sustained injuries in a blast during making Molotov cocktails on Thursday, died at a hospital in the capital on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Jewel, 30, of the village. 

Police and family sources confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier on Thursday night, three people sustained injuries in an explosion while they were allegedly making some crude bombs at Khaskandi village in Sadar upazila. 

All of them—Jewel, Kawser Hossin and Siraj--were admitted to the hospital and Jewel was shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) there as his condition deteriorated.

Later, Jewel breathed his last around 9:30am at ICU.

ABM Masud Hossain, additional superintendent of Munshiganj police, confirmed the matters to banglanews. 

Saidur Rahman, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Shahbagh Thana, said on information, police has been sent to the hospital to take necessary measures.
