DHAKA: Brigadier General Mohammad Mizanur Rahman has been made new director of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) as the incumbent director Brigadier General Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman has been promoted to Major General and appointed as director general of drug administration directorate.

DMCH director Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the matter banglanews on Monday.

According to the DMCH director, a gazette notification has already been published regarding his transfer to Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) as its director general.

Brigadier General Mohammad Mizanur Rahman will replace me as DHCH director, Mostafizur Rahman said.

I will handover my current responsibilities to him when will join here, he added.

However, Mizanur Rahman is currently posted as director at Osmani Medical College and Hospital in Sylhet.
