2 killed in Faridpur road crash

FARIDPUR: Two people were killed in a road crash in Majhkandi area of Madhukhali upazila of the district on Monday.

Identity of the deceased could not be known yet.

Confirming the matter, Karimpur Highway police sub-inspector M Abu Sayed told banglanews a plain sheet-laden truck turned turtle on Dhaka-Khulna Highway around 5:00am, leaving two people onboard the truck dead on the spot.

On information, police rushed in and recovered the bodies, he added.
