DHAKA: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) Tuesday approved five development projects involving a cost of Tk 1,205 crore.

The approval came from a meeting of the government’s highest policy-making body at the NEC conference room in the capital with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

All the cost of the projects would come from government exchequer and own finance of respective offices.

State minister of Planning Ministry MA Mannan made the disclosure before reporters at the meeting.
