The approval came from a meeting of the government’s highest policy-making body at the NEC conference room in the capital with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
The project “Power Distribution Development Project, Rajshahi Zone” will be implemented by December in 2018, starting from July, 2015.
This development project will reduce four percent system loss, sources said.
