DHAKA: Police recovered the body of a youth from Meradia Bhuyanpara area under Khilgaon Thana of the city Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Joynal, 30.

Khilgaon Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mostafizur Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the body, bearing several injury marks by lethal weapons, was recovered from an open place near a slum in the area.

However, it was kept in Dhaka Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.

“The law enforcers are investigating the matter,” the OC added.
