Bus driver arrested from Barisal

BARISAL: Police have arrested bus driver Zakir Hossian in a case filed over the fatal road accident that killed 25 people in Bhanga upazila in Faridpur.

Zakir was arrested from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and Hospital in Barisal on Saturday noon while undergoing treatment there.

Earlier on April 9, at least 25 people were killed and 20 others injured as a passenger bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Kaidubi area under Bhanga upazila on Faridpur-Barisal highway.
