DHAKA: A man hacked his cousin to death over land dispute at Katherpool area under Sutrapur Thana of the city early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Sheikh Monir, 45, while the alleged killer is Wahid Hossain Badu.

Victim’s uncle Sheikh Shamsuddin told banglanews Wahid slaughtered Monir in front of his house at 48 Justice Lalmohan Das Lane in the thana around 2am.

The body was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), he added.

DMCH police camp in-charge Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
