KOLKATA: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday ruled out the uncertainty over her Dhaka tour as a member of Indian Prime Minister Naredra Modi’s entourage.
Mamata said, “I will go to Bangladesh. There is no uncertainty. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the neighboring country on June 6. I will accompany him.”
The West Bengal CM confirmed the matter while talking to reporters after a district-level meeting in South 24-Pargana district of the state on Thursday afternoon.
The CM went on saying: “Those who think that I will exit the Bangladesh Tour, they are wrong. My program has already been fixed.”
The invitation letter is expected to reach the office of the CM on Thursday, said sources concerned.
