DHAKA: A man was killed as a passenger bus hit him in Hajipara of city’s Rampura area Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Sultan (50).

Ramna Thana sub-inspector (SI) Tokonuzzaman told banglanews that a passenger bus ‘Turag Paribahan’ hit the man leaving him dead on the spot.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy, he added.

Police have seized the bus, but the driver had managed to flee the scene.
