Titumir students withdraw Mahakhali blockade

DHAKA: Students of Government Titumir College withdrew the blockade on Mahakhali road in city around 4:30pm on Wednesday.

Earlier at 3:30pm, the students blocked the road on the allegation of “misbehavior” of a police sub-inspector (SI) with several students of the college.

Students alleged that SI Mannan of Gulshan Police Station misbehaved with several students of the college following the checking of motorbikes in the area.

Later, they withdrew the blockade after their reconciliation with police.

However, the blockade created terrific traffic congestion in surrounding areas.
