DHAKA: The government has approved Transplantation of Human Organ Act (THO)-2015 in principle.

The approval came at a regular cabinet meeting held at Jatiya Sangsad on Monday, with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

After the meeting, cabinet secretary Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan briefed it to reporters at Secretariat.

He said that the cabinet also gave final nod to the Court Fees (amend) Act-2015.

Moreover, draft of the Cadet College (amend) Act-2015 got cabinet approval in principle.

On the other hand, the government also approved the proposal of Value Added Tax (amend) and Supplementary Duty Act-2012.
