SAVAR: Police recovered slaughtered body of a businessman from Amin Bazar and body of an unidentified woman in Nama Bazar in Savar on Thursday morning.

Police sources said local people informed Savar Model Thana when they saw the slaughtered body of a sand trader Sanu Hawladar floating in river Bangsai.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.

Moreover, locals also informed the thana after seeing body of an unidentified woman of around 40 years in Nama Bazar

Police also sent the body to DMCH morgue, sources added.

Savar Model Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Qamruzzaman Mia confirmed the matters to banglanews.
