MYMENSINGH: Four members of a family were hacked to death by unknown assailants at Banshati village of Nandail Upazila of the district Friday night.

The deceased were identified as   Billal Mistri, 55, his sons Farid, 30, Pavel, 18, and Himel 16.

During the attack, Billal’s wife Banesha also sustained severe injuries. She was admitted to Kishoreganj District Hospital.

Mymensingh Additional Police Super (north) Harun-or Rashid confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Police are trying to arrest the killers, he added.
