DHAKA: Narcotics control department detained two youth with 11,500 pieces of yaba tablets in their possession in city’s Uttara area on Tuesday morning.

The detainees have been identified as Rezaul (25) and Samsu (20).

Confirming the matter to banglanews, narcotics control department (north) assistant director Manzurul Islam said that the two young men were carrying yaba tablets in the packets of Myanmar pickles.

On tip-off, drives were conducted to arrest them, Manzurul added.
