RIYAD: Kamrul Islam, alleged chief perpetrator of the murder of 13-year old child Samiul Alam Rajon, who was held in Saudi Arabia, could not be brought back to Bangladesh before the eid as eid holidays will begin here shortly.
A competent source told banglanews that there is not enough time to complete the proceedings to repatriate Kamrul.
He will be sent after the eid as the proceedings might take from two weeks to one month, the source added.
Acting Consul General (Jeddah) of Bangladesh embassy in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Mokammel Hossain told banglanews that they have been trying to repatriate Kamrul as soon as possible.

On July 13, Bangladeshi expatriates in KSA on Monday held Kamrul Islam from Zamia area in Jeddah around 5:00 (local time).
He was kept at Jeddah Consulate and will be handed over to local police Tuesday.
