6 fake currency makers among 7 held in city

DHAKA: The Detective Branch (DB) officials of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), in overnight drive in city, detained six members of fake currency making gang and a robber with 41 Bhori (11.664 grams) gold.

Additional Deputy-Commissioner (ADC) of DMP Media Center SM Zahangir Alam Sarker confirmed the matter to banglanews Tuesday morning.

Details will be disclosed in a press briefing, he added.
