Int’l Crimes Tribunal-2 now defunct

DHAKA:  Government has defunct one of the two International Crimes Tribunals, which were formed to try crimes against humanity committed during liberation war.

Law Ministry has decided to keep functional the ICT-1 to try rests of allegations on wartime crimes against humanity.

Law secretary Abu Saleh Sheikh Mohammad Jahirul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
