KISHOREGANJ: Three passengers went missing as an engine-driven boat capsized in Bakuria haor in Ashtagram upazila of the district early Tuesday.

The missing people were identified as Aftab (30), son of Abdul Hye; Sohel (30), son of Jamal Mia and Rajab Ali of Ghagra union of Mithamain upazila of the district.

Locals and police said that nine people were returning home from an uras program on the boat.

Ahstagram Thana sub-inspector (SI) Rajib Chakrabarti confirmed the matter to banglanews.
