India held 57 Bangladeshi fishermen for intrusion

KOLKATA: A team of Indian Navy detained 57 Bangladeshis along with two boats on charge of intrusion on Monday night.

Sources said the Bangladeshi boats entered three nautical miles inside Indian maritime boundary.

Navy men recovered 60-kg fish from the possession of those fishermen, sources added.

The fishermen were handed over to Marine Police on Tuesday.
