CHITTAGONG: A youth was killed when a bus hit him at Chandgaon in port city on Friday morning.

The deceased identified as Abu Syed Kala Mian, 20, son of Late Munshi Mian of Soadagarbari area, was an employee of a furniture shop, said Chittagong Medical College Hospital police.

Victim’s brother Abul Kalam Azad said banglanews that a city service bus hit Kala leaving him injured seriously when he was crossing the road at CNB intersection at around 7 am.

Later locals sent him to CMCH where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
