DHAKA: President Advocate Abdul Hamid returned home on Saturday night after completing his treatment in Singapore Mount Elisabeth Hospital.

A Singapore airlines flight carrying the president landed at Shahjalal International Airport at 09:45pm.

Planning Minister air-vice marshal (retd) AK Khandaker, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, Cabinet secretary, chiefs of three services, cabinet secretary, dean of the diplomatic corps and senior government officials received the President at the airport.

Earlier on August 24, the President went to Singapore for treatment.

He also received eye treatment at Singapore National Eye Center.
