DHAKA: At least five people were killed and some others injured in separate road accidents in Ashulia, Gazipur and Rajshahi.

In Ashulia, a microbus collided head on with a bus in Beribadh area of Ashulia, leaving one killed and nine others injured.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Bhuiyan of Ashulia.

In another accident in Ashulia, a bus rammed an auto rickshaw, leaving Rahela Khatun, wife of Mubarok of Rangpur, dead on the spot.

In Gazipur, one garment worker Abdul Jalil and a rickshaw pullar Sabuj Mia was killed in separate road accidents in Belabo and Borobari areas.

In Rajshahi, a 7-year-old kid, named Amena Khatun, was killed as a bus rammed her in Godagari upazila.
