NARAYANGANJ: A 15-year-old schoolgirl was allegedly raped by a youth at Kamranirchar village of Araihazar upazila of the district.

Sources said youth Sohel raped the girl at her house when she was alone on Tuesday noon.

Victim girl was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for treatment.

A rape case was filed in this connection on Wednesday morning.

Araiahzar Thana Sub-Inspector Ahsan Ullah confirmed the matter to banglanews.
