LALMONIRHAT: A college girl allegedly committed suicide in Purbo Velabari village under Aditmari upazila of the district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Munni, 17, daughter of Taslim Uddin and a class-X1 student.

Sources said that Munni committed suicide by hanging herself with ceiling fan at her room around 10:30am over love affairs.

On information, police recovered the body and sent to Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Aditmari Thana Officer-in-Charge Aslam Ikbal confirmed the matter to banglanews.
