GOPALGANJ: Two motorcyclists were killed and another one was injured in a road accident in Mandartola area under Sadar Upazila of the district on Monday morning.

The deceased were identified as Khokan Sikdar, 35, son of Mohammad Sikdar and Suruj Chokdar, 30, son of Jabbar Chokdar.

Gopalganj Boultoli police outpost Sub-inspector Suman Bhokto told banglanews, “The motorcycle knocked on a road side tree at around 10:45am, leaving Khokan and Suruj dead on the spot.”

Police recovered the bodies and sent to Gopalganj Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.
