FROM NEWYORK: Due to the economical crisis, United Nations (UN) urged member countries specially to pay subscription and promised money.
In the list of due payment of UN, the top debtor countries are United States, Brazil and Venezuela. And creditor countries are India, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Rwanda and Nigeria.
UN Under-Secretary General for Management Yukio Takasu confirmed the matter at a press conference at UN Headquarters.
Following the matter, Under-Secretary General for Management Yukio Takasu said that before up-coming January, nothing could be said finally.
Yukio Takasu also said that some 36 percent (9.45 million dollar) out of US$ 2.6 billion remained still due which was 8.55 million dollar on October 2012.
This year the regular cash is 55 million dollars till October 1. A total of 134 countries paid their dues within October 5.
The debt amount of US is $7.95 million, Brazil $75 million and Venezuela $22 million dollars. Besides, according to UN regular budget $53 million dollars remained due to others 56 countries.
