Dhaka: Registered primary school teachers Sunday urged the government to nationalize their institutions ensuring all facilities.

The call came from a press conference organized by the Registered Primary School Samity at Dhaka Reporters Unity in the capital.

Aminul Islam, president of the Samity, presented written speech in the briefing. Mansur Ali, General Secretary, and Vice-president Qorban Ali, among others, attended the press meet.

In the briefing Aminul said they would hold a grand rally at Muktangan on May 25 to press home their demand. “We will also submit a memorandum to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after holding the rally,” he added.

Leaders of the Samity said they already submitted a memorandum to the Education Minister through Deputy Commissioners on May 10.
