Bus owners have decided to stop seating and gate-lock services from the buses operating in Dhaka metropolitan city within the next three days.

Enayet Ullah, secretary general of Bangladesh Road Transport Owners Association made the disclosure at a press conference held at the organisation's office in the capital on Wednesday.

Passengers suffer a lot as there are no regulations in the seating service, he said, adding so there will be no seating or gate-lock service.

Khandaker Enayet Ullah read out a joint statement of Bangladesh Road Transport Owners Association and Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation.
