Police have arrested three Rohingya’s and recovered fifty thousand pieces of Yaba tablets in Ukhia of Cox's Bazar.

On Thursday (July 1) night an operation was carried out around 10 pm in Marichya Garubazar area of Haldia Palang Union.

The detainees were identified as Abu Syed (20) of utupalong, Ukhia, Shahed Mia (25) of Haldia Palang Union, and Mohammad Ekram (19), of the same area.

Ukhia Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Mohammad Ali said, "We conducted the operation on the basis of secret information." Legal action is being taken against the detainees, the OC further said, "We will continue our operation to bring drug traffickers under the law."
