BOGRA: Some 47 leaders and activists of ruling Awami League was sued on charge of torching, vandalism and looting a BNP leader’s house in Dhunat of the district Sunday.

The case was filed by a BNP leader with Judicial Court against 47 AL activists including Juba League president of Dhunat.

Court sources said that the case filed for vandalism in residence of BNP leader Aktar Alam Selim.

Taking the case into cognizance, Senior Judicial Magistrate Ferdous Wahid ordered Dhunat Thana Officer-in-Charge to submit a report by November 27.
